• The most likely cause of a trailers connector getting stuck inside the socket is attributed to corrosion on the pins. If you can, remove the trailer connector from the vehicle so you can have more room to work. You can use a lubricant if you wipe it out after but force will be the best thing for this. I recommend applying dielectric grease part # 11755 moving forward to prevent this.
